Kris received some exciting news last week that have changed our summer plans. He got an internship at a design studio in NYC, and we are pretty excited about it! But what is also very exciting, is my AMAZING job, that is allowing me to go with him and work remotely for a few months! We are way excited about this awesome opportunity. It will definitely give Kris a step up in the future.
So far we have bought plane tickets and found a furnished studio apartment in Brooklyn that we will be renting at an amazing price, and are in the process of trying to find someone to sublet our apt for the summer. We don't want to move... but so far we aren't having a lot of luck with this idea. (If you know anyone who wants cheap rent for 2 1/2 months, let me know!) So we might end up moving out afterall.
At any rate, we'll be gone the beginning of June to the Middle of August. We are so excited and I'm very proud of my talented husband for getting this incredible offer! Way to go Kris!

Congrats to Kris and what a great opportunity and a fun time that will be for both of you. You are very lucky to have a job that will be flexible for you! That is great all the way around. Maybe you can come visit us before you leave?! We'd love to have you if it works sometime. Just let us know.
