The best one yet!
I made this cake last weekend, and I have to say, I'm pretty proud if it! It's my first attempt at decorating a cake with fondant, and while it wasn't perfect, it turned out pretty awesome! And I'm excited to report that fondant is so much easier to clean up after... that greasy buttercream frosting is a nightmare! The silver base the cake is sitting on is cut funny, because otherwise it wouldn't have fit in my carrier. It would look better as a square. Here is the result!

It's loverly! I'd so pick it for Josh or Aaron's birthday if they weren't boys. But they are boys. Wait. Josh likes pink. Actually, I think he'd really like this cake!
Yes, I must agree it was a very lovely cake--I was impressed! We almost hated to cut it, but we know there will be another one to follow after your class next week. :) Can't wait to see what you do next!
Awesome! Is that ribbon fondant? And, if you read this soon, I need to get your phone number so maybe I can see you when we head to Provo this weekend.
Thanks guys! :)
And yes, the ribbon is also made of fondant.
